Weather |
Beautiful. Temp in 70's. A bit breezy at the point. |
| Crowds | A fair number of people on top. Met/passed saw a few going up, both spectators and paragliders. |
| Scenic Value | Not much until you at least get to the south launch point. Nice views south and of course from main point you can see out to the north/north west and to the west to some degree with Squak kind of in the way. Cool to watch the gliders launch/soar around. |
| Difficulty | It's a nice little climb but a good/easy trail otherwise. |

Narrative:
This was just a pretty short/easy stroll up to Poo Poo point to as much as anything watch some gliders launch off the point.
The only real "choice" of significance on the way up is whether to take the short cut up the steep more open hillside or go into the woods/follow the normal trail.
Whichever way you go you will shortly arrive at the south launch point (which you usually see few if any launching from).
PAcross the open area, reenter the woods for a short trek up to the main Poo Poo point.
Poo Poo point, the pictures tell the story.
One guy had a little problem getting too low and landing in the left hillside.
A few more shots from the south point on the way down.
Back at the bottom. A few shots looking back up.
A nice little evening trip up to sit back and watch the gliders.
