Snow

Are you kidding. This is Tiger Mountain in June.

Bugs

 None noticed.

Weather

Low 70's. Perfect hiking weather. Mostly Sunny.

Crowds Not bad for Tiger mountain. Basically no one on Section line trail/way up. A few in various directions between #2 and #1 peaks.
Scenic Value Well it's Tiger mountain, been there done that. I had not however ventured past the Hikers Hut area towers. It was sort of interesting to take in all of the towers.
Difficulty Section line trail a steep slog. Rest normal hiking trails and roads. I mean it is Tiger Mountain.

Narrative:

This was an after work hike. Hit the trail and proceeded up the Nook/Section Line trail. Only saw a couple near the bottom of the Nook trail and another couple coming west at the RR grade junction. Summit of 3 had a few people. Snapped a picture or two and proceeded to West Tiger 2. No one up there.

West Tiger 2 towers. West Tiger 2 towers.

Continued on to #1. Again no people. Decided to take the bypass trail around just to get a GPS track more than anything.

Towers on West TIger 1 from Hikers hut area. Hikers Hut and towers - West Tiger 1.

On the other side is the continuation of the road. I was in search of the other elusive Tiger towers. I had never ventured east on this road. In a short distance a clearing and 3 more towers are reached. There is a nice view out towards Lake Samammish. This is worth the little extra walk.

Next set of 3 towers just down from main set on East Tiger 1. Next set of 3 towers just down from main set on East Tiger 1. Views of Lake Samammish from 3 towers West Tiger 1.

A few cool shots looking back towards West Tiger 2/downtown from this same set of 3 towers area.

VIews back of West Tiger 2 town and downtown from West Tiger 1 near 2nd set of towers. VIews back of West Tiger 2 town and downtown from West Tiger 1 near 2nd set of towers.

Onward to the next/last set of towers. Not much further, not overly exciting.

Additional 2 towers West Tiger 1 just down the road. Additional 2 towers West Tiger 1 just down the road. Additional 2 towers West Tiger 1 just down the road. Housing and dishes near the additional 2 towers West Tiger 1.

Back towards the hikers hut, cutting through the open gate this time. Someone was up there working as well as his "guard dog".

Entering the forbidden zone. West Tiger 1. Gate was open. Car in the forbidden zone. Someone working. Greeted by pooch in the forbidden zone. No doubt the workers pooch. Never saw the person.

A few pretty Rainier shots near hikers hut on way back to West Tiger 2 summit.

Rainier from West Tiger 1. Rainier from West Tiger 1. Rainier from West Tiger 1.

I made West Tiger 2 my brief snack stop. A few paragliders and such as well enjoying the day off to the west.

Paraglider from West Tiger 2. View and clouds from West Tiger 2. Rainier from West Tiger 2.

Then back over to #3 and down the freeway/main trail. A few parting shots on the way down.

Views of towers from just below West Tiger 3 summit on way down. Views on way down from West Tiger 3. Views on way down from West Tiger 3. View of Tenerife/Si just below West Tiger 3 summit.

A bit more traffic of people coming up but not bad. Also passed by a few runners coming down.
